Embracing the spring sunshine- the final push of tulips in the Gowers Road planters

Hi to all who follow this group and are involved with helping plant up the village planters (or indeed would like to help) If you need plants or compost for these this summer, please contact me, Cate Cathy Bolsover either on here or message me, as I am currently in charge of the funds. At the moment, I am (with Kim Ellis' help) looking after all the planters at Gowers Road, including the play park, and would much appreciate some more assistance! We will be planting up some time at the end of May or early June for the summer.

Past members of the TGC will be sorry to hear that Karen Black passed away yesterday. We will miss her inspiration in the village, and we send our commisserations to Jim, her husband. Karen spent many years providing plants and getting others involved in the upkeep of the village containers, and we know they would not have been so amazing without her efforts.
