Hi All - a short post to advise that I've added STRIPE as an alternative payment method to PayPal for purchasing the website products.
I was noticing that a few customers were finding their payments through PayPal were sticking at "Pending" with payments not completing and so could not download the products.
Hopefully adding STRIPE will give an alternate option.
Needless to say that BOTH are fully secure payment methods (SSL).

Hi All,
The new Add-On pack for the FR&WHR Route is almost ready for launching. Just doing final testing for the release of THE QUARRYMAN Add-On.
I expect to be able to release this in a couple of days.

The pack will contain 9 new carriages, 4 scenarios depicting the 2025 Quarryman service and a new Quarryman headboard that can be selected.

Also, just to mention, all the Quarryman carriages are now complete and I'm working on a few scenarios to complete the pack for release early in the new year.

Hi All. Quick update to say that only one coach to model now. Have completed the basics for 100, 116, 124, 103 & 102. 107 to go!!
I've tried to add a new little feature which I'll tell you about later and also a few screenshots to illustrate.
There will be a new Headboard to suit the service as well.
Some tweaks no doubt as I test and a few new scenarios to build so it's likely release will now be post-Christmas 😥

Hi All...........a short post to let you know of the next package that will be forthcoming for the the FR&WHR Route.
This will be a pack that will represent last seasons "The Quarryman" service comprising of a set of carriages that were used on the 2025 season service.
For those interested it will comprise of carriages 102,107,116,124,103 and 100 together with a few scenarios to get you going.
The carriages represent a range of ages and styles and hopeful help to fill a few holes in the rolling stock range.
More details as we progress and hopefully a release pre-Christmas!

So What's Next?.........🤔
Just thought that an update on plans for projects that I'm working on for both for The Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland route as well as the Talyllyn route would be welcome news.
In addition, its probably worth revealing ideas/plans for a new Route Project as well.

In terms of the existing routes, I am working of an add-on for the Talyllyn which will show off the new bogie carriage saloons recently delivered to the railway. These are the new observation saloons built by the Boston Lodge carriage team. I also hope to have a new model for No4 Edward Thomas for release.

In terms of the FR&WHR, probably just a route scenery update to reflect the changes around Harbour station but will include a new carriage, 'Bodysgallen', the lately restored Pullman coach used on the WHR trains.

Lastly, a brand new route to announce which has the working title of "The Llanberis Railways". It will be a two part release and include easy and challenging journeys. More details and information to come!
It will be a busy time over the next few months!!! 😃

We're pleased to announce that the latest addition to the FR&WHR route is now available on the SPRailways website!
Details about the WHR NG15 'Kalahari' Add On pack can be viewed here..... https://sprailways.co.uk/
It comprises the 134 loco & tender complete with seven scenarios to illustrate the locos run along the WHR lines.
As always, profits go towards the FR & WHR railways.

A quick update to say that the NG15 Kalahari model is now finished. I just completed the functions to change the loco/tender lights dependent on the direction of travel and whether the loco is light or pulling a consist.
In the process of making some scenarios to include in the pack so hopefully it should be available within a few weeks.

The NG15 release has been delayed a while because of a serious PC problem. The SSD hard drive become corrupted so needed return to supplier. 😪☹️
Just restoring my backups before getting back to work!!
