We received some beautiful pictures today from our friends in the Ukrainian orphanage. The power packs have been purchased with funds sent from Abis appeal. The power packs mean the children can carry on some sort of normality when there is no power. They are often without power for days on end due to the bombing 😢
Thank you to everyone who has donated or sponsored the power pack project, the children are very grateful 🙏

Our fund is empty but our hearts are full!
Money sent to the Ukrainian Orphange so they can buy power packs for the children. They often have no power for days on end as the bombing continues. They are so grateful 🙏
The manager of the orphanage said ‘I'm happy that you exist and I'm happy for the children💖💖💖’
We will be at the Ironsides table top sale on Monday 9th March 7-9pm, hoping to raise lots of money to put back into Abis Appeal so we are ready for the next call to action. Come along if you can!

Hi everyone we hope you are doing well. We have received a call for help from the Ukrainian orphanage we support and we will do our best to help!
You may have seen on the news recently that the people of Ukraine are having to live with frequent power outages that last for days on end, sometimes for weeks, this in turn means they have no heating, limited cooking facilities and no contact with the outside world 😢
Temperatures in some areas have dropped to minus 30 degrees Celsius over the last few
Weeks, so it’s cold! 🥶
The Orphange have asked us if we can provide financial support to help them buy 20 battery packs so they can continue some kind of normality for the children. The packs are £48 each so we need to raise £960. We have already received some donations for which we are so grateful, thank you 🙏

Abis Appeal recently answered a call for support from our local swimming club, Team Otters. Abis appeal has sponsored the swimmers on their quest for medals in Denmark. GO OTTERS!

‘Last year the otters won 5 gold medals in the Welsh gala and 4 in the UK gala . So we are so pleased to announce we have 2 swimmers representing the UK in the international gala in Denmark in February. If there are any companies or individuals that would like to sponsor our swimmers however small the donation it would be greatly appreciated. ’ Sue Woodward.

The Otters swimming club is an amazing club very close to our hearts. Abi was a member of the club for many years and Abis sister libby has also volunteered there. The club promotes inclusivity and gives the swimmers some wonderful opportunities to develop confidence and compete in competitions.

Hi we are back! Hope you had a lovely Christmas and we wish you a happy and healthy new year.
We have received some beautiful photos of the children in the Ukrainian orphanage receiving their gifts, made possible by Abis Appeal 🥰
It just warms the cockles of your heart doesnt it.

We helped 13 people with food hampers and bought selection boxes for Phab social club. Thank you to everyone who donated and made this possible.
We are signing off now for 2025 but will be back on Monday 5th January 2026. Please reach out if we can support you in anyway.

We’ve had another busy day delivering and making up hampers. We have 2 more to deliver tomorrow and then that’s us done for Christmas.
We will continue to support people in need throughout 2026 so please reach out if we can help someone, it’s what we do.
