A different aspect of Masonary that is on the look out for new members?

The Provincial Demonstration Team was formed some 20 years ago at the request of the Deputy Provincial Grand Master the VW Bro Derek Young and the RW Bro Barrie Hall.
They enact various aspects of our Masonic History and to do so in a Performance which was both informative and entertaining.
Since that time 20 years ago they have produced and performed various Plays which characterise different times in Masonry and have been fortunate to have dozens of Masons have given their time to be involved over the years.
Unfortunately we now have a problem. Many of those people who have been involved have either passed to the Grand Lodge Above or are now older and not able to perform as they have in the past.
So if the Provincial Demonstration Team is to continue to serve the Province as we have done for 20 years then we need to attract new and younger members to perform the Plays we have produced.

Did you know Freemasonry is not only for men, there are in fact specific Lodges for Women only. Although not mixed The Order of Women Freemasons is the oldest and largest Masonic organization for women, founded in 1908 to break down barriers that excluded women from the Masonic fraternity. It actually comprises 358 working craft lodges around the UK
In Northampton we also have Northampton Lady Associate Members who meet up and do a great deal of fundraising.

So sad to have read that Buckingham Palace has released the following statement :

"It is with deep sorrow that Buckingham Palace announces the death of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent.

Her Royal Highness passed away peacefully last night at Kensington Palace, surrounded by her family.

The King and Queen and all Members of The Royal Family join The Duke of Kent, his children and grandchildren in mourning their loss and remembering fondly The Duchess's life-long devotion to all the organisations with which she was associated, her passion for music and her empathy for young people."

We wish to extend their heartfelt condolences to the Grand Master, His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, during this difficult time.
