The Hands Up Project The Hands Up Project connects young Palestinians with people around the world

The Hands Up Project is committed to social justice, global citizenship, and freedom of expression, and upholds the belief that language learning is enhanced through creativity, performance and collaborative interaction. To these ends, the project affords opportunities for children in difficult circumstances, such as Palestine, to use English to communicate with one another across borders in a “spirit of peace, dignity, tolerance, freedom, equality and solidarity.” UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, 1989

🎨🤎 Art From Rubble Daily Update 🇵🇸

Bubbles, laughter, and little smiles! 🫧 Nada Rajab and the children shared some beautiful moments during their Bubbles, Not Bombs activity.

Sometimes, the simplest moments bring the greatest joy. Every child deserves to feel safe, play freely, and be a child. 🫶🏻🤎

Even here, in Florianopolis, the Brazilian city where Bolsonaro and the extreme right have the most support, many many thousands marched today to show their support for Lula. Brazil is a long way from Palestine, but what happens here next Sunday could have long lasting implications for the future of Palestine too. Lula was the first world leader to call what is happening a genocide, and for the sake of humanity we need him relected.
