It's not too late to grab a bargain!!! Lindsay tells me that there were a few plants remaining at the end of the plant sale today which she has left outside Torthorwald Hall for a week.
If you would like some please help yourself AND if you would like to leave a donation you can put it in the post box beside the Hall door.
Be quick though!

What a brilliant morning it was at the plant sale in Torthorwald today, the Hall was full of plants of all shapes and sizes - coffee, tea and cakes also loaded down the tables ready for people to arrive. Two hours later there was hardly a plant or cake in sight having all been made to disappear by the many visitors who came along to enjoy the morning with us!
A BIG thank you to Lindsay & Tom for all their hard work in organising it all - as well as digging up, potting up and setting up most of the plants over the past few weeks - along with the many supporters who brought more plants, cakes and goodies to sell.
The Hall was buzzing yet again!!
Also, on behalf of Lindsay and her team, a BIG thank you to everyone who came along for your support. With your help they raised an amazing £1000 towards the next Torthorwald Hall project. You are all extremely generous and Lindsay and team are very grateful to you!

Calling all budding gardeners and plant enthusiasts.

The Torthorwald Hall Association GREAT COFFEE MORNING & PLANT SALE is happening again this year between 10.00 - 12.00 on SATURDAY 6th JUNE. Come along and get some wonderful plants for your garden and enjoy a tea/coffee and cake (and blether) while your there.

Huge congratulations to the ladies of the Collin SWI who were runners up in the Dumfriesshire Federation 2026 Short Mat Bowls competition held in Torthorwald Hall on Saturday.
The Collin 1st team of Maralyn Drinnan, Susan Meadows (Skip), and Agnes Carmichael were awarded the Silver Medal after a hard fought contest.
Absolutely fantastic! Well done girls, you were brilliant!!
If you would like to try Short Mat bowling why not come along to Torthorwald Hall at 2.00 - 4.00 on Tuesday afternoons and have a go - first time FREE (normally £3) and its fun. All equipment is supplied. 🪀🪀
