Carers Aid Torbay - previously Carers Trust Phoenix Happy To Help, We Are The People Who Carers Turn To In The Bay We are a small not for profit organisation offering an enabling service for carers in Torbay.

We are a registered, independent charity providing a free, supportive service to unpaid Carers. We welcome Carers on a day to day basis (please ring first though as we are often out in the Community visiting Carers). ort Workers, are happy to meet with Carers either at the Olive Centre, at the homes of the Carers or at a location which is convenient for the Carer. We are here to listen to Carers and help identify what support/guidance/advice they need which would make a positive impact on their current situation as well as their personal lives and caring role. We recognise that every Carer is different with a different set of needs. We can also offer advocacy support – attending formal meetings, school meetings, tribunals, etc – as well as helping with any paperwork or forms – even writing letters on behalf of the Carer themselves. Ee can often be more flexible in our support, tailoring it to the needs of the individual Carer.
