From 9–17 October 2027, take on an unforgettable 35km-trek along the Great Wall of China – one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The journey will take you through beautiful valleys and across remote mountain ridges, passing ancient watchtowers and historic battlements. You’ll also get the chance to explore vibrant Beijing and its famous landmarks, including the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square,

It’s with real sadness that we’ve had to take the difficult decision to temporarily close Ella’s Boutique and Café in Chelston for the remainder of May and throughout June, due to ongoing staffing shortages.

This hasn’t been an easy decision at all. But protecting the wellbeing of our teams and focusing our resources where they can make the greatest difference for the hospice has to come first. We’re hoping we’ll be able to reopen in July, assuming we can secure the staffing we need.

To all our wonderful customers - thank you so much for your incredible support of Ella’s Boutique and Café. We’re really grateful for your kindness, patience and understanding while we navigate this temporary closure. It genuinely means so much 💜

Please note that our other Ella's Cafe Lounges at Preston and Churston remain open as usual. We’d be delighted to welcome you there so you can continue supporting the hospice.

Make a splash for your local hospice 💜

The Agatha Christie Sea Swim returns this July to celebrate the author's love of sea swimming and to raise vital funds for Rowcroft Hospice and the Agatha Christie Festival charity.

Choose one scenic swim or take on both across the weekend 🌊

Join us at Picnic at the Park! 🦆

We’ll be at River Dart Country Park as they celebrate their 50th birthday with a special day of fun, food and festivities.

Come and say hello to the team and take part in a duck race in aid of Rowcroft. Ducks are just £1 each, with the race taking place along the leat.

We’ll also be sharing our stand with Totnes Caring, so make sure you pop over and see us both.

We’re looking for volunteers to help us at Picnic at the Park, as well as the upcoming English Riviera Airshow. It’s a lovely way to support Rowcroft, meet people in the community and help raise vital awareness of our work.
