AC Jowan, OC Lewis and CFC Seb have enjoyed a brilliant week sailing around Devon and Cornwall on board the yacht, TS SIR STELIOS! ⚓️ They've all come away with qualifications and brilliant experiences after a week at sea learning about seamanship, navigation and sailing. Last night, the Torpoint Town Mayor, Cllr Julie Martin, hosted members of the council and community for a Civic welcome for the new Commanding Officer of HMS Raleigh, Colonel Chris Hall MBE RM. Able Cadet Bartek, her Mayor’s Cadet, accompanied the Mayor on meeting Colonel Hall and introducing him to local organisations within the community.

As Volunteers' Week draws to a close, we'd like to thank all the Adult Volunteers who plan, organise and deliver training to our 70 cadets. Our volunteers give up hundreds of hours of their time every year; all for free! They do this alongside their own personal commitments, family time and day jobs. Our volunteers come from all walks of life - engineer, administrator, pastoral worker, carer, lawyer, director, defence contractor, dockyard worker, students, and serving members of the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and Royal Marines. Thank you for everything you do to support our young people!
