I am attaching above (i) No.70 Bus Advance Information re the Military Road Closure between Tregantle and Cawsand from Monday 14th October to Friday 2nd October. and

(ii) a copy of the Local Public Transport Update I have sent as usual, for inclusion in the September 2026 Issue of the Sheviock Parish Newsletter.

BUS TIMETABLES - As some of you will be aware and, which will be noted from the above attachment, South West Water will again be carrying out works on Military Road

for quite a lengthy three week period, during which all 70/A/B/S Buses will not be able to use the road between Tregantle and Cawsand and will be rerouted via Hounster Hill etc. in both directions. This will of course again present difficulties for most bus users living near to the coastal road, and so it is perhaps opportune that we will beholding our AGM/Public Meeting on September 9th in the Freathy Community Hall, when there will be the opportunity to discuss any relevant points raised about the forthcoming works, and its implications.

I mentioned in the last RPPTUG Update about an error in the Cornwall Timetable Book on the Travel for Cornwall Website. This after some confusion has finally been resolved, with the online PDF T.T. now being updated with the same version as the printed book. Thanks go to Go S.W. Bus for agreeing to implement the very welcomed additional 70B Bus Service that helps fills a very wide gap in through bus provision to Plymouth.
