Had a fabulous time down at Looe Skatepark's 'Skate Jam' yesterday... a huge thanks to our very own Tom Crago who supported running the skate comps and dished out the prizes! What a great community and can't wait to connect more and make sure South East Cornwall is the best place for skate and youth opportunity!

Torpoint Skatepark - Vintage Skate Film Drop!

We’ve dug up a slice of local skate history! This film was shot between 1999 and 2004, during the golden days of Brook Brand Skateboards & Clothing - a time when Torpoint’s ramps were buzzing with energy, style, and community.

Featuring some of the legends who helped shape the scene: Alex Dwyer, Boyd, Tom Crago, Simon Kay, Stuart House, Steven Treweekes, Paul Newcombe, Liam McCarthy and Andy Knights.

Huge respect to everyone who’s ever dropped in, hung out or helped make Torpoint’s skate & wheels sports culture what it is today!

We’re gearing up to create a new skate facility for Torpoint and we’re on the lookout for skatepark design companies and passionate individuals to join our team.

ABSOLUTELY delighted to have got our Torpoint Skatepark project to the 'invitation to tender' stage... a massive thank you to everyone that has supported to date, completed our community survey and councillors who are up for putting Torpoint on the skatepark map! Looking forward to seeing what initial designs and ideas come back... and let's hope 2026 we can get this town fund aising for a quality piece of community infrastructure!!
