🏃‍♂️ Weston Half 10K Challenge Complete🏃‍♂️

On 4th October 2026, Lesley (our co-chair) took part in the Weston Half 10K in Weston-Super-Mare to help raise money for a brand-new, fully inclusive Torpoint Skate Park, which will replace the current skate park.

“Ten years ago, Icompleted the Bristol 10K in 1 hour and 2 minutes. This time, my goal was simply to finish in 1 hour and 30 minutes. Well, I surprised myself and smashed that target, completing the course in just 1 hour and 1 minute, beating my personal best from 10 years ago!”

“I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, and donated so far. Together, we have already raised an incredible £439 towards the new skate park.”

The project needs to raise £400,000 to make this fantastic community facility a reality, so every donation makes a difference. If you would still like to contribute, please see the donation link below:

We are also looking for new ideas, fundraising opportunities, sponsorships, and community support to help get this project off the ground. If you have any suggestions or would like to get involved, please get in touch via DM or email us!!

Together, we can create a modern, inclusive skate park for future generations to enjoy; https://torpointskatepark.co.uk

This Sunday, Lesley is taking on a 10K run in Weston-super-Mare to raise money towards a much-needed new skatepark for Torpoint.

Our current skatepark is over 26 years old — we want to replace it with an exciting, inclusive space for skating, scooting, BMX, rollerblading and more.

Every donation, big or small, takes us another step closer. 💛
