A beautiful day for litter picking around Torpoint today. We collected 36.28 kgs of litter, 18 bags full.
We have now collected over 6 tonnes of rubbish since we started weighing collections.

75.38 kgs collected today around Torpoint. Well done, everyone. Don’t forget the Great British Spring Clean is this Saturday from 10 to 1 pm in Benodet Park, Torpoint. Equipment is provided and everyone is welcome.

Yesterday we had 23 TEA volunteers out in Torpoint. Some planting Spring flowers in the planters in front of Harvey Street flats and others litterpicking. 66.56 kgs collected yesterday. The planters look lovely. Well done, everyone.

🌍 Torpoint Environmental Action Update 🌍

Another fantastic community litter pick today – we collected 28.08 kg of rubbish! 💪♻️

We’re also thrilled to report that the town is looking much cleaner lately… 🧼✨

Every crisp packet picked, every bottle binned properly, every conversation had — it all adds up. THANK YOU to everyone making a difference.

🌍♻️Torpoint Environmental Action – Another Fantastic Litter Pick!🌍♻️

Our amazing TEA team was out in force yesterday, collecting **50.50 kg** of litter – that’s **17 bin bags full!** A huge effort making a real difference to our town, parks, verges, and shoreline.

Another great turnout of volunteers – thank you to everyone who came along! Every piece of litter removed helps protect our local wildlife and stops plastic pollution from reaching the sea. Around **80% of marine plastic pollution** comes from land-based sources, so tackling litter on our streets is just as important as cleaning our coastline.
