On September 11th, 2001, the world changed.
But in a small town in Newfoundland, something extraordinary happened.
7,000 strangers arrived unexpectedly in Gander - and the people of the town opened their homes, shared their food and welcomed complete strangers as friends.
THEY CHOSE KINDNESS.
This September marks 25 years since 9/11 and from September 1-11th, Pay it forward 9/11 is inviting people around the world to keep that spirit alive through 11 DAYS OF KINDNESS.
LampsTonbridge have a simple challenge for you:
💙 Do 3 acts of Kindness
💙 Share post and Nominate 3 others to do the same.
💙 Create a ripple effect of kindness and unity
It could be buying a coffee for someone, helping a stranger, thanking someone who deserves it, donating to a good cause - or simply doing something kind when you don’t have to.
Because sometimes, the smallest act can make the biggest difference.
And that is at the very heart of COME FROM AWAY.
