We enjoyed such a lovely afternoon yesterday at our village fayre. Thank you to everyone who came and helped support our little stand and have a chat. We couldn't do anything about the good old British weather but hope the company was definitely worth the effort.
If you had a little go at "Guess How Many Tea Bags are in the Jar" The answer was 108! No knew guessed correctly but the nearest person was Dilys! One of our regulars! Well done Dilys πŸ‘πŸ‘
We hope we have encouraged a few mpre people to join us Wednesday afternoons 2 til 4pm for a cup of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a biscuit (or two). You will be welcomed by friendly faces eager to introduce you to people and make new friends. You might even recognise familiar faces! Whatever, we will help you to feel at ease. We are a friendly bunch!
See you all Wednesday at 2pm. πŸ€—
Tina, Yvonne, Jayne, Karen and Norma xx

Brrr wasn't it cold and wet on Wednesday afternoon? It was definitely more like mid winter than May in the spring time.
Hey ho, its the good old British weather and we really should be used to it rather than being surprised.
We were amazed that so many of you pulled on your waterproofs and braved the weather to join us at the Methodist Hall. Thank you everyone. Your efforts were appreciated and we hope you enjoyed yourselves.
See you next week. Let's hope its a bit warmer and dry! X

We had another busy Cosy Coffee Time yesterday afternoon. Thank you everyone for coming along in the sunshine. Yes, sunshine, even if it was a bit of a chilly wind!
As always, it is great to see our friends and quite a delight to greet friends we haven’t seen for a while too. What a lovely surprise to see Doris again. Thank you to her daughter Tina for bringing her along. Lots of her friends were thrilled to have a catch up with her.
We must say a big thank you too to Councillor Debbie Mason She has secured a Β£500 grant for us from the Rushcliffe Councillors Community Support Scheme. We are delighted to say that this will secure Cosy Coffee Times future for several months. Thank you
More good times ahead!

Thank you to everyone who came and helped us celebrate our first birthday.
We had a great time with the usual laughter and chatter mixed with cake! Yes cake, well you can't have a birthday without cake can you?
Thank you Susan Entwistle for your very kind and generous gift of a free card to each of our cosy coffee friends. It was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated.
Thank you.
If you haven't experienced the warmth and friendship of a Wednesday afternoon at Cosy coffee, do come along. You will be made most welcome.

Last week we enjoyed a very pleasant "Happy New Year" afternoon. Nosecco, orangr juice, tea, coffee and all the usual nibbles. Yum.
The room and tables were decorated, party poppers on the tables and all the usual happy chatter.
It was superb. Thank you to everyone who came along.
A big thank you to the anonymous person who left an m&s bag at the Cosy Coffee door. The contents were much appreciated and enjoyed 😊

Just to confirm our doors will be open as usual this Wednesday 2pm til 4pm
Kettles will be boiling, biscuits out and of course, the room will be nice and warm
We look forward to welcoming you

What a wonderful afternoon we had at Cosy Coffee Time this week. Thank you everyone for coming along. It was a very festive final gathering before Christmas.
The Carol singing was fantastic. Well done everyone. A big thank you Judith and Yvonne for your superb playing πŸ‘πŸ‘
Thank you to everyone too for our beautiful flowers and your collection. It was a very unexpected surprise πŸ€— you are a lovely bunch of people we are privileged to know.
You all know how much we love our Wednesdays and look forward to seeing you all.
Just a gentle reminder that we will NOT be meeting on Christmas Eve, but we will be open as usual on New Year's Eve.

We all enjoyed another Cosy Coffee afternoon yesterday. It is lovely to welcome you all.
You regularly see familiar faces serving drinks and setting up the tables with tablecloths etc. but we would like to say a huge thank you to one of our silent helpers. Kevin turns up regularly to put the tables and chairs out from the store room. He does this all before we arrive to do our bit. Thank you Kevin. Your help is appreciated so much. ❀️
