Tiverton Hunt Pony Club

We had a remarkable weekend at the Senior Regional Tetrathlon at Pontispool, where six of our members showcased their exceptional skills.
The regional ride courses are notoriously technical, making them a highlight for many of our athletes. Out of 84 competitors, only 11 achieved a score of 1400, and we are thrilled that Zak, Laura, and Rebecca were among them.
Zak P, our only Boy competitor and first-year senior, secured an impressive 2nd place finish, was part of the winning regional team, and received the Horsemanship trophy.
Laura T took 6th place, and was part of the 2nd place regional team along with Zoe T who finished 11th, Katie H 15th in the 3rd place regional team, Rebecca E 22nd, and Holly P 34th.
We extend our congratulations to all our members for their outstanding performances. It was lovely to have numerous supporters from Tiverton Pony Club in attendance, cheering on our athletes throughout the weekend, particularly during the ride.
The black-tie event on Saturday was also a resounding success, with our members looking elegant and refined, with no straw and hay in site!

What a wonderful day we had for our Pony Club Show today. Thank you everyone who came and supported us and to all the fantastic children and ponies competing and of course, their parents! It was so nice to see so many happy, smiling faces.

Thanks to all involved in helping and organising, was a great team effort by the club. We are very lucky to have such a fantastic venue and are very grateful to the Blake Family Hayley Blake for hosting us.

Thanks also to Liz and Leonie Photography for capturing the day with some wonderful photos…..please find the direct link to the photos from the day below ☺️

A lovely round by our member to win the First Year Senior Boy’s competition at the Junior International Tetrathlon at Morton Morrell last weekend. So nice to see his compassionate riding, politeness to fence judges when needing to receive instructions and a big well done to Victor his horse at the finish over a very technical course which had only 14 clears out of 91 competitors! 😳 Both our boys representing the South West from Tiverton were a credit to the club. Well done 🤩
