Rotary Club of Locks Heath

Our President David Fawcett recently visited Rotary Club of Locks Heath accompanied by friend of Rotary Richard Blythin , to give a presentation about the work of the charity Abby's Heroes where David is employed as Community Fundraiser.

He was also a great opportunity to get to know a fellow Rotary Club , it’s always interesting to see how each club is very different but at the same time the values of Rotary and commitment of Rotarians shines through.

We felt privileged to have Station Manager Nick Stanley from Lee-on-the-Solent NCI, KAVS speak at our meeting this week. The National Coastwatch Institution has hundreds of volunteers keeping their eyes on The Solent and its beaches making sure people stay safe. Please do visit their page or website https://www.nci.org.uk/station/solent/ for more information.
