THE STARS ARE UP! STARRY STORYTELLING TODAY FROM 2-4 PM AT FOX & KING, High Street, Tisbury - Age 6+

Its the last day of STARFEST 2026, but there are still have a few spaces left for family-friendly, starry storytelling between 2-4pm with Lizzy Bryant. Each session lasts for approx 30 minutes . You can book a session now at
www.tisbury-pc.gov.uk/starfest-events

Feeback from on one of last Saturday's sessions was:
“Wow what an incredible story telling session - adults and children both totally enchanted. Such an interesting Chinese legend which I hadn’t heard before. We all really enjoyed ourselves. Your story telling is fabulous and brought to life with all the visuals and sensory layers you include. Thank you so much 🙏 “

And don't forget that there's a wonderful evening of live music at the New Vic from 7.30 pm tonight, featuring Rock Forte & Blues Birds. Come along and dance the night away - free entry, but donations welcome, with all proceeds going to Salisbury Hospital's STARS appeal.

Galactic Quiz Champions!
Huge congratulations to Team SE25 - (right) John and Emma Procter and Sue and Duncan Glover—for their stellar victory at The Boot on Tuesday night! Hailing from West Tisbury, the team proved they know their pulsars from their planets, taking the top spot in our StarFest Planetary Quiz. A brilliant night of brain-teasing fun in a packed-out pub! Thank you to Oli Turner and well done to the winners and a big thank you to everyone who came out to test their cosmic knowledge!

Star-studded Concert! Tisbury's Methodist Hall was packed out on Monday night to hear a celestial concert by Shaftesbury Symphony Orchestra under the expert baton of Sarah Freestone. The specially curated event for StarFest Week included brilliant performances of Chabrier's L'Etoile Overture; Debussy's Clair de Lune and Hoagy Carmichael's jazz classic, Stardust.

A stellar start to StarFest Week 2026 in Tisbury!

Huge thanks to the Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Helen Birchenough, for joining our local Councillors to launch StarFest Week, a joint initiative between Tisbury Parish Council and Cranborne Chase International Dark Skies Reserve. Don't miss out on the talks, tours, and stargazing happening all this week (14–21 March)!

Join us for an out-of-this-world evening at Tisbury StarFest! This is your chance to learn how to capture the night sky in pics. Local experts Louise McKenna and Josh Dury are hosting "Capture the Night Sky"—an introductory guide to landscape astrophotography. Learn the tips, tricks, and settings needed to turn a dark night into a masterpiece.

Tisbury Parish Council apologises but the Public Toilets in Nadder Close are closed for routine maintenance until 11.30 am this morning.

They will be opened as soon as the work has been completed.
