Our agency was founded in 2015 through lived experience.

Mine — as a care leaver, mixed-heritage adult, and fostering panel member.
My wife’s — as an experienced supervising social worker and registered manager.

Together, we built Wholistic Fostering Agency because too many African, Caribbean, and mixed-heritage children were growing up without carers who truly understood their culture, identity, and needs.

Children shouldn’t have to leave who they are behind when they enter care.

This page is a fresh start for our social media — rooted in community, culture, and care, right here in Birmingham.

National Play Day

National Play Day is fast approaching!

📆 Mark your calendars! National Play Day is on Wednesday, 6th August, and Sandwell is joining the celebration with fantastic, free events for families across the borough this Summer.

From cooking workshops, taking part in Dhol drumming, arts and crafts, carnival games, or simply exploring, there will be something to spark every child's imagination and get them moving!
