We had a visit from Susan Stovell from the Red Cross charity tonight, and the Scouts got to learn some really useful first aid skills. It’s was good to see the Scouts engage and ask some great questions. Thanks Stu for organising

Huge congratulations to the team of 4 Scouts who worked so hard today in the sunshine to WIN the Big Breakfast competition. Demonstrating excellent team work, the hottest breakfast EVER and fantastic washing up! Well done team!

Wow, that was a couple of packed days, exploring London from our base just round the corner of Abbey Road Studios. Good walking Scouts 😉

This evening we were joined by Sadie from Feathers and Fur Falconry. The Cubs got to fly a Barn Owl and a Kestrel. The leader team got to fly the slightly larger Indian owl Charlie and a Harris hawk, the name alludes me.

Last night of term, where’s that term gone?
The Cubs took part in a sponsored bike ride/walk/run/scoot around Springfield Primary’s playing field, raising funds for the section and also paying for their night at Lagoona Aqua Park.
They all did an awesome job and there was lots of great team spirit shown amongst them.
Massive thank you to all the generous sponsors, I’ve heard a rumour that some had opted for the per lap option, with that Cub completing 39 laps.🤭
