Tideswell & District Repair Cafe

Tideswell & District Repair Café was launched in May 2022 and is quickly bringing in repairs from the village and surrounding area. We are very friendly and welcoming and serve homemade refreshments and real coffee! Our repairer team is multi-talented and will tackle all sorts of domestic items needing repair including electrical goods, textiles, small furniture items, clocks, printers, toys and w

e've even repaired a telescope. We are lucky to have a newly built hall as our home, which has an air source heat pump and solar panels for heating. We have set ourselves up so that no one person has too much on their shoulders with different people leading the 3 volunteer teams of repairers, hosts and refreshments. Please bring along your broken items for advice and hopefully repair. NB This is a repair café not a restoration workshop like the TV's "Repair Shop". If spare parts are needed the team will advise on what to get and where to get it from at your expense. They can show you how to do the repair or bring it along to the next event and they'll do the full repair. This project is part of Tideswell & District Environment Group
