1st Thurstaston Scout Group Skateboarding, climbing, kayaking, camping, sailing, orienteering, cycling, hiking, grass sledging, potholing... Scouting is all these things, and more.

Some come along and Join in the Adventure. X Such was the success of our newly opened Squirrel Drey we’ve had to open another starting very soon our second Drey - welcome to new Squirrels in Hillbark Drey on Monday and soon another dozen and more new Squirrels will join Harrock Drey next Thursday! Scouting for 4 and 5 year olds made possible by our amazing volunteer leaders. We ha

ve three Beaver Colonies, meeting on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Ismay, Royden and Thor Beaver Colonies
Fletcher and Reed Cub Packs on a Monday and Wednesday
Martin and Richardson Scout Troops on Tuesday and Thursday
Young Leaders help out at each Section meeting and you can complete your DofE volunteering service with us. So come along and join in the fun at 1st Thurstaston.

We've had our amazing Beaver and Cub Holiday this weekend! We stayed at the West Midland District-Campingcentre near Barmouth. The location is excellent - so many beaches and lots to do! We stayed in the main centre and Chris, one of the camp staff, was great. Our Beavers and Cubs were brilliant throughout the holiday and had a fabuous weekend. Activities included a visit to Greenwood Forrest Park, beach games, gadget making, kite decorating and an evening on the beach enjoying a Chippy tea.
