Our senior policy officer Hyo recently met with Kirsten Oswald MSP, Minister for Victims and Community Safety, alongside colleagues from Haddington Citizens Advice Bureau, Stirling Citizens Advice and JustRight Scotland at St Andrew’s House in Edinburgh.

Their focus was on The Scottish Government’s Legal Aid Reform consultation and the importance of ensuring people can access the legal support they need when they need it most. By bringing real experiences from across the Scottish Citizens Advice network into the conversation, we’re helping drive the case for a legal aid system that enables early intervention and prevention, is person-centred and accessible in practice, and can meet the changing needs of people across Scotland. ⚖️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
