Our golden girls, Lottie and Dottie – two lovely older spaniels with hearts full of love and personalities to match 💛
These two absolutely adore their time outside in the exercise pens, where they can soak up the fresh air and enjoy life at their own gentle pace. Lottie, the smaller of the pair, is a sweet little shadow who will happily sit at your feet, gazing up at you patiently until those well-deserved cuddles arrive. She’s a quiet, affectionate soul who just wants to be close to her person.
Dottie, on the other hand, is our bigger, cheekier girl who knows exactly what she wants – and what she wants is belly rubs! She’ll flop onto her back without hesitation, paws in the air, demanding attention in the most endearing way possible. It’s impossible not to smile when you’re around her.
Both Lottie and Dottie are incredibly loving dogs with wonderful characters, and they’ve stolen the hearts of everyone here. As our oldest residents, it breaks our hearts that they’re still waiting for their forever home. They shouldn’t be spending their golden years in kennels – they deserve a cosy home, a comfy bed, plenty of tasty meals, and all the love and cuddles they can get.
If you’re looking for gentle, affectionate companions who will fill your home with warmth and love, Lottie or Dottie could be your perfect match. They do not need to be rehomed together but would highly benefit from living with another dog. Let’s help these beautiful girls enjoy the retirement they truly deserve 🐾

What a rainy weekend! 🌧️ Take a look at our current doggies looking for their forever homes to cheer you up! Please read each dog's description carefully before applying. Meet Keira...

She is an approximately 9-month-old Staffie, with ears large enough to receive signals from neighbouring counties 😆 She was originally named after Shakira because when she is excited, every part of her body moves independently.

She is a sweet, friendly, and people-focused dog. Training-wise however, she is currently more of a concept than a reality…but she makes up for it with enthusiasm. Where she lacks in manners, she sure does make up for it in energy and personality.

If you’re looking for a calm, sensible dog who follows instructions, then keep scrolling. But if you’re looking for a high-energy companion with as much common sense as a traffic cone, then look no further. Keira would be ideal for someone who enjoys affection, laughter and genuinely enjoys the reward of training a puppy. She meets other dogs like a steam-train on legs, however she is looking to be the only pet in the home, as she requires a good amount of basic training, including better socialisation than she has previously had to support her development into a well-rounded adult dog, as she is currently well into her 'teenage' phase.

Meet Winston 🐾💙
Winston is a 2-year-old Bulldog who arrived with us in a very poor state. He was smelly, sad, and suffering from a severe, long-untreated skin condition which had left his skin thickened and sore.
Since being in our care, Winston has been receiving lots of TLC, including medicated baths twice a week and regular flea treatments. We’re so happy to say he is already looking much brighter, and his fur is finally starting to grow back! ✨
Winston will need ongoing care in his new home. His adopter must be committed to continuing his medicated baths and keeping him on a specialised diet to support his recovery.
He has been assessed well around other dogs, but we feel Winston would thrive best as the only dog in the home. He is also looking for a child-free environment where he can relax and be the centre of attention.
This boy is a massive foodie 🍖 — he absolutely loves his food and will happily eat anything you give him, however we do know he cannot have anything chicken flavoured.🐓
Due to his needs, a home with Bulldog experience is preferred.
If you think you could offer Winston the loving, committed home he deserves, please get in touch on 01268770402 feom 9am-3pm daily as we work on an appointment basis only. A standard rehoming fee and follow up homecheck will apply.
