Are you looking for a new role?

We are looking to recruit a Gift of Friendship Project Coordinator.

The role will be to coordinate and facilitate the running of our volunteer-led service aimed at alleviating feelings of loneliness and isolation in older people (Gift of Friendship).

Heat-Health Alert!
The Met Office is predicting extreme heat this week. With temperatures in South Gloucestershire forecast to reach up to 35°C, it's essential to look out for others, especially older people, young children and babies and those with underlying health conditions. Close curtains on rooms that face the sun to keep indoor spaces cooler, and remember it may be cooler outdoors than indoors. Drink plenty of fluids, avoid excess alcohol, dress appropriately for the weather, and slow down when it is hot.
