Part of the National Sea Cadet Corps Open to anyone over the age of 10 the Sea Cadets offer young people opportunities to learn new skills and leadership, qualities that will stay and help them throughout their lives. The unit will be temporarily closed untill after half term 2nd November.

This is whilst we arrange an updated mandatory electrical inspection to current industry standards.

The safety of our cadets is paramount and complying with updated standards ensures this.

We will keep you all updated on our progress.

Should you have any questions please contact us [email protected]

Many thanks for bearing with us

NATIONAL CADETS WEEK

Celebrating our volunteers

Our volunteers give up their time freely, at Sea Cadets Thornbury & District our relatively small team of volunteers has over 100 years voluntary service with the Sea Cadets between them.

We do not know how many young people & volunteers have benefitted from their commitment over the years whilst supporting cadets and other volunteers at unit, district, area & national level.

A huge thank you for what you do.

Could you volunteer and help develop our young people and gain qualifications yourself? If so then contact us.

NATIONAL CADETS WEEK — WHAT WILL YOU ACHIEVE? ⚓️

As we continue celebrating National Cadets Week, we’re reminded of just how much young people can achieve when they become part of a cadet movement.

From learning to sail, kayak and paddleboard, to gaining qualifications, developing leadership skills, taking on new challenges and making lifelong friendships, Sea Cadets opens doors to opportunities that can stay with them for life.

And you never know where your journey might take you.
