After welcoming over 1,000 visitors last year, Thornbury Fun Palaces is returning for another free, community-powered celebration of creativity, culture and connection.

A huge thank you to everyone who ran an activity or supported the event last year – you helped make it such a vibrant day for our community 💛

Want to be part of it this year?

We’re looking for people who would love to share a skill, hobby or passion with the community. It could be crafting, music, science, storytelling, gardening, games – or something completely unique!

🌟 What an incredible day! 🌟

A HUGE thank you to everyone who made Thornbury Fun Palaces 2025 such a success — from all the amazing local groups and organisations who ran activities, to the wonderful community who came along to join in the fun! 💛

From coding and clay art to music, stories, crafts, and acrobatics — the creativity and energy across Thornbury were just fantastic. 🎨🎶🤸‍♀️

This year marked five years of Thornbury Fun Palaces, and it was truly inspiring to see our community come together once again to celebrate creativity, connection, and local talent.

💫 Thank you to every volunteer, partner, and participant who helped make the magic happen — we couldn’t do it without you!

Thornbury Fun Palaces is back next Saturday, 4th October, and Panache will be there!

There will be performances from Panache, as well as a performance from one of our community groups and opportunities for you to have a go too!

If you'd like to have a go at playing the pans, join us at 11:30 and/or 12:30 when we'll be running some short workshops - open to all ages and abilities!
