We are celebrating the Cutty Wren on 26th December again this year at Elveden village hall. There will be mulled wine and cider and mince pies. We will sing the traditional wren carols and congregate around the beautiful wren pole. Do bring a song or a tune to share. We had a special time last year. Please come again and bring your friends and family. They'll only be showing repeats on the telly!

Many thanks to the small but perfectly formed band of quizzers who turned out last night to our Village Hall quiz night. A good time was had by all. Pictured below is the team leader of “Piped at the Post” who were the runners up together with our quizmaster. Below that is the winning team “The other team”. Congratulations to them. Our next quiz night is on 6th December. Put a note in your diaries. More details to follow nearer the time.
