🐾 20 for 20 Puppy Update! 🐾

Our adorable 20 for 20 fundraiser has been busy practising his sits in the garden today! ❤️🐶

As part of Parenting Special Children's 20th birthday celebrations, he's helping us spread the word about our 20 for 20 Challenge. Whether you're walking 20 miles, baking 20 cakes, completing 20 acts of kindness or creating your own challenge, we'd love you to get involved.

From 22–29 June, we're taking part in the Big Give Small Charity Week campaign, where eligible donations will be doubled, helping us raise vital funding to support families raising neurodivergent children.

You can take on a challenge, fundraise, or simply donate £20 and see your gift doubled through match funding.

Keep an eye on our social media for more puppy updates as our four-legged supporter continues his 20 for 20 journey! 🐾

This week is Carer’s Week

This year’s campaign focus is on building carer friendly communities - calling for better recognition and support for unpaid carers

Often as parents we don’t see ourselves as carers but we are because we often if not always have to go above and beyond what other parents need to do when we have a child who needs more support.

Understanding that you are a parent/carer enables parents to access support, whether it be peer support, financial (DLA/PIP, carers allowance) all of which can help reduce parental stress.

Do contact us if you need support, we can listen , offer peer support and signpost to organisations who can support with information on PIP/DLA/carers allowance.

🐾 Meet one of our youngest supporters! 🐾

To celebrate Parenting Special Children's 20th year, this adorable new puppy is taking on our 20 for 20 Challenge.

He's currently in training for his big challenge during Small Charity Week (22–29 June), when he'll attempt 20 sits in 20 different places around his house and garden.

His owner has pledged to donate £20 to support families raising neurodivergent children, whether our furry fundraiser masters all 20 sits or decides that naps and toys are more important! 😊

We'll be sharing a puppy progress report next week, so keep an eye on our page to see how training is going.

Could you take on a 20 for 20 Challenge of your own?

🐾 Do something involving the number 20
🐾 Raise £20 or more
🐾 Help support families raising neurodivergent children

Or donate £20 during Small Charity Week from 22–29 June, when eligible donations will be doubled through the Big Give.

What do you think? will our newest supporter complete all 20 sits? Let us know below! 👇
