WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY ! - Teddy Bear Picnic in our Clarance House Garden. The weather was kind and so many young families enjoyed simply chilling out or taking part in our well organised activities for children e.g. Teddy Hunt, Colour a Teddy, Name a Teddy, Cut out and colour a Teddy using quick drying Clay. The Teddy Bear Story Time and Tea/coffee/home made cakes/squash were also a bonus. Free ice pops!
Our next Event is SUMMER CELEBRATION - 29 Aug - 12 - 4 pm in our beautiful garden. Details to be posted.

An enormous thank you to John Webb's Windmill Thaxted board of trustees for the lovely gift of a box of shears. They were put to good use this afternoon by the Duke of Edinburgh volunteer students.

First of our summer fund raising events. Teddy Bear Picnic for our younger Thaxtodians and for all younger children and families in the surrounding areas.

Do you fancy a couple of hours on Sunday morning helping out at the garden? We have things to plant out, dead heading, weeding and strimming to do. This garden is for all of Thaxted to enjoy, come and help us make it beautiful ❤️

10am to 1pm, pop in any time for as long as you like. If you have a fork, trowel or secateurs you can bring all the better!
