🎃

Despite having to relocate our session tonight because of Storm Austen, our Her Land girls’ Pumpkin Party was still full of fun!

We made pumpkin soup using pumpkins grown at Her Land, and everyone was surprised by just how much they enjoyed it! We’ve even saved some seeds to see if we can grow our own pumpkins again next year. 🌱

Next session, we’re hoping to be back on site, enjoying more soup made from leftover Halloween pumpkins around our new firepit. 🔥 A perfect way to spend time together outdoors as the evenings get colder.

A huge thank you to for funding these sessions and helping make opportunities like this possible for our girls. 💚

If you want to get involved in helping to design our Walled Garden, we are starting a fortnightly session on a Wednesday evening from next week to start this project. We would love to see you there! Message [email protected] if you want to get involved.

Today we focused on clearing our fire pit area of weeds and cardboard so we can start using it for evening gatherings. Lisa also kindly did some weeding of our tea patch.

🌿 Return to Nature – a space to reconnect, restore and just be. 🌿

In a world that can feel busy and overwhelming, sometimes we need a little time to slow down, breathe and remember that we are part of nature, too. 💚

Join us at Her Land for Return to Nature, a series of three sessions exploring how we can reconnect with the natural world, ourselves and each other.

Through gentle activities, grounding ourselves on the land and sharing our experiences, we'll explore different ways of deepening our relationship with nature and finding our place within the natural world. 🌱

✨ Time to pause and recharge
🌿 Reconnect with nature and the land
🤝 Connect with others in a welcoming space

The sessions are designed to build on one another, so we encourage you to join us for all three, although some flexibility may be possible.

Come as you are, take a breath and give yourself the space to reconnect. 🌳
