Did you know that when you travel, you can be given a lanyard or badges to signal that you or someone you are travelling with has a hidden disability?

These can be used to assist with access to priority lanes when there are large queues of people, like at airport security, or to access priority boarding for aeroplanes. At a glance, staff know you may need additional time or support during your journey.
Most airports and train stations support the "Sunflower" Scheme and provide Sunflower lanyards to people with hidden disabilities and their travel companions completely free of charge.

The great thing about these lanyards is you can use them anytime you go out, whether it's to the supermarket, cinema, or the bank, and they will recognise you may need additional time or support during your visit.

If you are feeling a bit lonely or down why not come along to the Chatty CafΓ© at the Village Centre tomorrow morning. You can easily recognise the Chatty CafΓ© table as it has a yellow tablecloth, come along and have a chat with others over a cuppa. You'll be amazed how much better you'll feel!
