SAVE the CROSS

SAVE the CROSS Next year 2014 will be the Hundredth Anniversary of the beginning of the Great War.

Movement on The Cross was discovered during a recent clean and has been identified by Structural Engineers as corrosion to the iron rod that supports it. Tewkesbury Town Council has raised a public appeal alongside the Echo, to raise £10,000 to pay for the renovations.

Tewkesbury is truly blessed by having a uniquely beautiful War Memorial designed by one of the most respected architects of his day - William Caroe
