Yesterday, we co-hosted the Burning Questions Roundtable with HETAS, bringing the solid fuel industry together to discuss Defra’s consultation on solid fuel burning 🪵

There were some really valuable conversations about how the proposals on Fuels, Labelling, and Appliances, could work in practice, and plenty of ideas for what more could be done to support a cleaner, safer and more sustainable environment.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their perspectives, and to The Building Performance Hub for hosting! 👏

More insights from the day are on the way, and we’ll continue to keep you updated as Defra’s consultation develops 💬

The purpose of Woodsure certification is to provide a recognised quality standard for woodfuel products. 🪵🔥

Fuel quality is important for anyone using a wood burning stove or biomass boiler; poor quality fuel is one of the main causes of faults, chimney fires, air quality issues and breakdowns. 💡
