Dear All,
We have all seen the terrible scenes in Ukraine over recent days and the effects that the bombing is increasingly having on the general population. We have families affected within Mary Ps and would really like to support them, their relatives in Ukraine, and the wider population.
In unison with the local Tewkesbury Boys Brigade we will be supporting them and taking any donations received through Mary Ps to them and share their message below.
The Ukrainian Church in Gloucester is collecting items to send out to Ukraine and have asked for any of the following:
PERSONAL HYGIENE
Wet Wipes / Antiseptic Wipes / Antiseptic / First Aid Kits / Emergency Blankets / Waterproof Plasters / Bandages / Gauze Pads
Disposable Gloves / Scissors - 5 inch / Fabric Plaster Strips / Paracetamol / Wound Dressing Pads / Multivitamins
CLOTHING
Thermal Blankets / Raincoats / Roll Mats / Pillows / Bedding / Sleeping Bags / Babies Nappies / Batteries of various sizes
FOOD
All kinds of instant food e.g. instant soups for use with boiling water / Breakfast Cereals / Energy Bars / Dried Fruits / Nuts / Canned Meat & Fish
All these items can be brought to your son's BB meeting this Thursday and we will pass them on to the local appeal.
There is also an appeal fund for supporting members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces if you want to support in this way. It is being administered by the National Bank of Ukraine -
