Tewkesbury Mop Fair 2025
The Tewkesbury Mop Fair's claimed to be the Uk's oldest fair. It's history dates back to at least 1199 and originated as a "hiring fair" to find seasonal work for servants, farmhands, and labourers. This first fair was held by King John and the fair now has a charter to hold the fair each year on the sane dates granted by Queen Elizabeth II.. This is the first time that I have drawn this Fair.. I hope you enjoy it.

Congratulations to Leigh Danter this years winner of the "Jack Stephens memorial plaque". We were so pleased as a committee to be able to award Leigh and Danielle with the plaque after their incredible rebuild of the
"Super Star" and what an amazing job the team have done with this rebuild, " A mark of true showmanship, Well done Leigh Danter and Sons Fairground "
