We've completed the refurbishment of the Tewkesbury in Bloom planter behind the Town Hall on Back of Avon and it is now looking splendid following the addition of plants by the Tewkesbury in Bloom team.

We've received a large number of positive comments and thanks during the work, showing how much the people of Tewkesbury appreciate the efforts made by community groups to keep our lovely town looking good.

We joined 2nd Tewkesbury Brownies, Friends of the Earth and others in the Tewkesbury Big Clean today. 6 Guides, a parent and a leader picked up litter along the High Street, Back of Avon and in the alleys.

We're making progress on the refurbishment of a Tewkesbury in Bloom planter in Back of Avon. Wooden blocks have been added to support the cover at the bow of the boat and the inside has been sanded, ready for painting. Next steps - the cover will be glued to the blocks, the sanded area will be painted and we'll do more sanding/painting.

We're very proud of 3 Guides who have raised £175 for the British Heart Foundation by holding a cake sale at school.

To complete their Take Action - Make Change level 4 Skillsbuilder badge they were asked to raise some money for charity - and far surpassed expectations with the amount raised. Well done 👏
