This week our fundraising for Young Minds continued, with our Anchors wearing yellow for World Mental Health Day, and taking part in yellow based activities. The decorated cup cakes looked delicious and we started selling emoji's and quiz sheets to add to the money we have already raised towards our £1,000 target.
More opportunities next week to buy your emoji or quiz sheet and support the work of Young Minds

A great effort from all who washed, baked, served and supported our charity car wash in aid of Young Minds - we raised over £400 and added to what we already have, that puts us half way towards our £1,000 target.
The afternoon saw 25 of our lads taking part in the Battalion 5 a Side competition with some good results and the Company Section retaining their title. A very good 2nd place in the same age group, and also for our Seniors team, whilst the Juniors did well in coming 3rd. Thanks to the staff, seniors and parents who helped with the BBQ & Tuck Shop on the day, raising funds for the Battalion.

A great start to the new 2026-27 session on Thursday, welcoming new members and getting uniform organised.
Company were sorting teams for National competitions, and Seniors were making fires without matches - we now have the largest Company & Seniors Section for 30+ years!
Today we had a fab Family Fun Day & BBQ, despite the rain, big thanks to the staff for setting up, supervising, cooking and packing away - great effort.
