🚲 This Friday (5 June), Cycle Maintenance UK are running a FREE Kent Bike Fix workshop at EKC Ashford College between 10:30am-2:30pm, where they will be providing safety checks, minor repairs and offering cycling advice.

The aim of these workshops is to get people back on their bikes so they can travel around the area again, or use their bikes to get to work or an educational facility.

It is recommended that you register to secure your slot, which you can do so via the link in the comments, but you can also just pop in when you can and the team will try and fit you in!

E-bike users are also welcome to bring their bike along, but only those that are in need of adjustments or minor mechanical fixes, as these tend to require specialist assistance when it comes to repairs.

Best of all, there’s absolutely no cost to attend – your place is fully funded by Cycling UK as part of The Big Bike Revival programme.

So, if your bike needs a once over or has something that needs a fix, pop on down!

We’re inviting students aged 8–18 to take part in Kent’s new Children & Young People’s Survey – designed to capture their lived experiences, concerns, motivations and aspirations.

Schools and colleges that participate will receive report of the responses from their students.
