On this page we thought we would tell you a bit about what some of our St Florence WI ladies get up to when not attending WI meetings or coffee mornings.
First to do this is our member, Margaret, who provided us with some fantastic pictures of her patio which she established 8 years ago. It is mainly pots planted with a mix of seasonal plants, perennials and a few small trees for height and texture. There are two raised beds which are for the climbing Clematis, roses and Jasmine. These beds have some evergreen shrubs and winter climbers and plants in them. In late summer Margaret will change some of the plants to a mix of winter bedding and of course lost of spring bulbs.
Margaret says this patio area changes with the seasons and provides a little space of her own which she can quietly enjoy.
