Everyone can help by popping in and picking up some food to use it so it isn't wasted.

The Tenby Community Fridge is still looking for volunteers to join the team. There are options needing a car for collecting -

Sainsbury in the morning anytime between 7.30 and 10,
or Co-op, Tesco, Post Office and Londis in the evening starting at 8.30
Either of these takes an hour or less to collect, weigh and display the collection.

Another option is to 'open' the fridge if the collector is unable to do the weighing and displaying before the cafe opens at 11

A third option is 'closing' the fridge around 2.30 prior to the cafe closing at 3pm - clearing unwanted food and leaving the area clean for the evening collection (takes about 30 mins from 2.30pm).

Ideally each 'slot/shift' would be covered by two volunteers and done on alternate weeks. This allows for cover during sickness or holidays

The community fridge is still open during the summer holidays! Masses of sandwiches, milk, bananas, bread and more at the moment.
Please come and make use of this food! .
Lower Frog street in the Old Chapel. Open Tues-Sat 11-3 excluding the last weekend in the month.

The Tenby Community Fridge is still in need of volunteers to fill vacant slots in the team.
One is to close the fridge on Tuesday afternoons - clearing unwanted food and leaving the area clean for the evening collection (takes about 30 mins from 2.30pm).

The second needs a car and is to collect donations on alternate Thursday or Friday evenings from 8.30pm from Morrisons, Londis, Co-op and Tesco and deliver to the fridge. This usually takes an hour or less.
These are specific, but if you think you could help with any other slots, please contact me.
The more people involved, the easier it is for all.
