A huge thank to all our volunteers who have given up their time to run the hub and bring everyone together.

A massive thanks to Paul - the backbone of the hub. He has worked tirelessly to bring everything together.

A couple of weeks ago Ruth led the group in a large-scale acrylic painting session. The aim is to make one large mural in the Warm Room.

On Monday, we are having Sausage and Mash, and afterwards we will do some collage work.

Could everyone remember to bring along lots of old magazines, publications, books etc to cut up and apply. Thank you 🙏🏻

Don’t forget it’s warm hub day tomorrow (Monday) and all our welcome.

We will be having a finger buffet lunch and lots of tea and coffee as usual!

This will be followed by a session of painting a very large mural to add some colour to the Warm Room. How fabulous will that be - why not come and be part of creating something special.

Another great turn out at the warm hub.

Everyone enjoyed fish fingers, mash and mushy peas. This was followed by a game of beetle drive. Great fun!

Huge thanks to all our volunteers who give up their time to cook, clean, wash up, shop, prep and organise these sessions. We really could not do it without them. 🙏🏻

Gosh is it ever going to stop raining! However have you noticed that the nights are pulling out - Spring is round the corner!

Why not banish the winter blues and join us for a light lunch of fishfingers followed by some games.

Last week the group enjoyed a lovely session with a soup lunch and peach sponge dessert homemade by Elvina. This was followed by a slideshow of animals, places and people around the world. A great afternoon.

So why not come along and join us - we are in the hall behind Carew Wesley chapel. Monday 12:30 to 3:30 - all welcome.

This week we have a light lunch of jacket potatoes with fillings. This will be followed by a watercolour session with Deacon John Miller - just for fun! If you don’t fancy having a dabble with the watercolours you can always stay comfy on the sofas and just chill and chat.

We are situated in the Carew hall which is directly behind Carew Wesley chapel. We meet Mondays 12:30pm to 3:30pm.

2026 is upon us - a whole new year stretching out before us - may it be filled with good health and happiness. Don’t sit home alone because this Monday (12th January) your warm space is back!

Come and join us at 12:30-3:30 for a light lunch and an overdue catch up! Come meet up with old friends and new!

Just a reminder that the warm hub returns next week - Monday 12th January.

Let hope it’s a bit warmer by then, but if it’s not there will always be a warm welcome in Carew!
