Hi
Another fantastic few weeks for Tenbury Community Shop. We have been open for about five months now. With your support donations have kept on coming and going. So we have been able to give back to many local groups. As you know last month it was towards instruments for young people starting out in Tenbury Town Band. Tenbury Transport and Tenbury lights. Well the last few weeks have been even better. We have helped the Regal with costumes. Supplied China and glassware for dinners and tea parties. We have passed on jigsaws to the library and books to Orchard court. But the best part is that we have donated to other local groups. Rangers, Brownies, Guides and Rainbows. Junior football, a local cats shelter, St Michael's mother and toddler group and HA Muay Thai training for young people. Brilliant, well done everyone who has helped the shop be what it is and be able to help so many local groups.

Hi
Another fabulous month at the community shop. Thank you all for your donations. Its lovely that our friends and community feel they can pop in and get a friendly welcome from us. I think you already know we love to chat.

Great news about how your donations are helping us give back to our community. At the Town Band Concert on Saturday. Chris Harris presented a donation towards musical instruments for youngsters who to want to join the band. Also Chris gave a donation to Tenbury Transport and a donation to the Tenbury lights. These are just the start of the donations from our community shop giving back to our community.

We always have to thank all of our wonderful volunteers who have given their time to make all this possible.

Lovely photos ladies and gentlemen of course.

Hi
A lot has happened in the last month. Thanks to Duane Hubbard (Lard) Neil Swales and Chris Stanmore we now have the shop sign up. Chris S also put a shelf up in the loo over the new basin and hot water heater. It's getting better every week.
Chris and Bernadette have worked really hard assembling shelves for different items. Also they have sorted all the clothes into see-through boxes so it will be easier to find what's needed. We are so pleased with the way the community has come together to help get the shop up and running.
And of course we have to say how grateful we are to all the volunteers who have covered shifts and helped out when needed. We have a WhatsApp that is great for creating our ongoing volunteer group.
We have sent more toys to children's groups. More clothes to Maggs and bras to Carol at Smarty Pants, who collects them for charity. A couple of school have had dressing up clothes and items of school uniform that were needed.

News from the community shop. After a few weeks we have gathered a lot of donations and with the constant change to the clothes and items on display, we are excited to be able to donate to Maggs for homeless and vulnerable people.
Monica one of our local volunteers has also taken toys to Burford Parents and toddlers play sessions.
Monica also along with other local lovely ladies use our wool and materials to knit and make for various local charities. We still haven't got our sign up but have been told that Caldicotts may come to the rescue. Chris as many of you will know is in our local production at the Regal of Calender Girls. The first night was a great success. Thanks Bernadette for the very colourful window display.

Another good week. We gave all our customers a free book on World Book Day.
Chris Harris from our community shop is also busy rehearsing for her part in the production of Calender Girls. We can't wait to see it. Their last production My Fair Lady was absolutely fabulous.
This week we have four cds for a £1 and lots more lovely things to see in the shop.
If you have a few hrs to spare we need more volunteers to support us helping our local community.
