Back in action after a short break. There are exciting things happening that will help us sort and get more of your generous donations into the shop. This month we have donated to the flood defence group, Tenbury Pool and Clee Hill Rugby Club. I hate to mention the C word as its not even November yet. But we have a lot to sort out before putting the decorations in the shop and the time is going so quickly. Before Tenbury Primary school went back we did a window with the uniform that we had. We hoped this helped anybody who needed it. Pop in for a chat if you are passing, and see our Applefest window. Don't forget it is Applefest on Saturday. See you there.

Well we are into August already, the year is going so fast. What a great summer we are having, if a little warmer than we are used to at times. Our storage unit is proving very useful and means things can be sorted more easily giving room in the shop to welcome more of your generous donations. The shop is going really well. This month we have donated to Miss Debbie from Pointeworks ballet group towards rails for the younger children and Boogie Bounce towards free children's sessions in the holidays. Chris, Bernadette and our merry band have worked hard to organise, sort donations and look after our lovely community, who have supported us so well. The windows are looking great. We have some lovely children's books, clothes and toys. But I have to say if you see something you like get it at the time because nothing stays too long. The shop will be closed from the 6th-20 of September for holidays. So please if you are thinking of donating please bring them before that date or hang on to them until we are next open. I hope you are enjoying all the local fetes and shows that are around at the moment. It must be such a relief to them that they are having good weather.

Another month has gone by and a lot has been happening at the community shop. Chris has got some storage arranged and will be moving alot of our donations there. This will make it easier to sort when your much appreciated donations come in.
I hope you have been looking at the wonderful window displays that Bernadette has been doing, she changes them every week.
The lights in Market st should be gone this week much to the relief of the town.
We have donated to the Burford parents and toddlers group and there will be more donations later in the month.
Don't forget that we have Tenbury Primary School uniform if anyone needs it. We are still donating toys, books and puzzles to any group that needs them.
We are so grateful that our community is supporting us so that we can give back to help local groups.

Another fantastic few weeks for Tenbury Community Shop. We have been open for about five months now. With your support donations have kept on coming and going. So we have been able to give back to many local groups. As you know last month it was towards instruments for young people starting out in Tenbury Town Band. Tenbury Transport and Tenbury lights. Well the last few weeks have been even better. We have helped the Regal with costumes. Supplied China and glassware for dinners and tea parties. We have passed on jigsaws to the library and books to Orchard court. But the best part is that we have donated to other local groups. Rangers, Brownies, Guides and Rainbows. Junior football, a local cats shelter, St Michael's mother and toddler group and HA Muay Thai training for young people. Brilliant, well done everyone who has helped the shop be what it is and be able to help so many local groups.

Another fabulous month at the community shop. Thank you all for your donations. Its lovely that our friends and community feel they can pop in and get a friendly welcome from us. I think you already know we love to chat.

Great news about how your donations are helping us give back to our community. At the Town Band Concert on Saturday. Chris Harris presented a donation towards musical instruments for youngsters who to want to join the band. Also Chris gave a donation to Tenbury Transport and a donation to the Tenbury lights. These are just the start of the donations from our community shop giving back to our community.

We always have to thank all of our wonderful volunteers who have given their time to make all this possible.

A lot has happened in the last month. Thanks to Duane Hubbard (Lard) Neil Swales and Chris Stanmore we now have the shop sign up. Chris S also put a shelf up in the loo over the new basin and hot water heater. It's getting better every week.
Chris and Bernadette have worked really hard assembling shelves for different items. Also they have sorted all the clothes into see-through boxes so it will be easier to find what's needed. We are so pleased with the way the community has come together to help get the shop up and running.
And of course we have to say how grateful we are to all the volunteers who have covered shifts and helped out when needed. We have a WhatsApp that is great for creating our ongoing volunteer group.
We have sent more toys to children's groups. More clothes to Maggs and bras to Carol at Smarty Pants, who collects them for charity. A couple of school have had dressing up clothes and items of school uniform that were needed.
