🎉 Our Free Veteran Trail Plaque Winners Have Been Chosen! 🎉
We are delighted to announce that the recipients of our free Telford's Veteran Trail plaques have now been selected.

Firstly, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to submit a nomination. We were overwhelmed by the response and honoured to read so many inspiring stories of service, dedication and sacrifice.

Every single nominee was worthy of recognition, making the decision incredibly difficult.

We have contacted all of the successful applicants directly and look forward to sharing their stories with you as their plaques are created and installed on the Trail.

For those who were unsuccessful this time, please don't be disheartened. Thanks to the generous support of Telford & Wrekin Council, we are still able to offer a limited number of plaques at the special reduced price of just £150 (normally £295).

If you would like to honour a veteran with a place on Telford's Veteran Trail, please send us a message or email [email protected] for more information.

Thank you once again for supporting Telford's Veteran Trail and for helping us continue to recognise the remarkable men and women who have served our country. 🇬🇧

🇬🇧 Free Veteran Plaque Nominations Now Closed 🇬🇧

A huge thank you to everyone who nominated a veteran for one of our free plaques. We have been overwhelmed by the number of deserving nominations, and the standard has been incredibly high.

Nominations are now officially closed, and our panel will be reviewing all applications over the coming days. The successful recipients will be announced shortly.

If you weren’t selected, or you would still like to honour a veteran, we have our last remaining Veteran Trail plaques available for just £150.

Each plaque becomes a permanent part of Telford’s Veteran Trail, helping us recognise the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces community while also raising funds to support veterans’ charities.

If you would like to purchase one of the remaining plaques, please send us a message or get in touch for more information.

Thank you once again for your incredible support of Telford’s Veteran Trail. ❤️

Supporting Those Who Served 🫡

This week, I had the pleasure of visiting Models for Heroes Telford, where I spent time chatting with the veterans who attend the group.

It was a truly humbling experience listening to their stories and hearing first-hand how much Models for Heroes has helped them. The support, friendship and sense of purpose the group provides is incredible to see, and it’s clear they are making a real difference to the lives of so many veterans.

As part of our visit, Telford’s Veteran Trail was delighted to donate £250 to support the fantastic work they do.

We’re proud to support organisations that are making such a positive impact within our veteran community, and we look forward to working together in the future.

A huge thank you to Gary and everyone at Models for Heroes for such a warm welcome, we can’t wait to visit again!

Don’t forget, we’re still inviting nominations for our free Veteran Trail plaques, helping us recognise the remarkable men and women who have served our country.

Thanks to the generous support of Telford & Wrekin Council, we’re also able to offer a further 10 plaques at the reduced price of just £150 (normally £295).

If you know a veteran who deserves to be recognised, or you’d like more information about purchasing a plaque, please get in touch via Facebook or email us at [email protected]

To many, Peter will also be a familiar face as a valued member of Wellington (Telford) Brass Band, where he has inspired audiences through his love of music.
As Peter celebrates his retirement, he is marking the occasion in the best way possible – with a concert that brings together the many parts of his life's journey.
