The countdown to the Exhibition is measured in weeks.

The workload is measured in cups of tea.

Behind every successful trade show is a team juggling floor plans, exhibitor requests, awards entries, deliveries, signage, stand builds, forklift schedules and, of course, the inevitable "just one tiny change" request.

A successful event is a bit like a swan: calm and graceful on the surface, paddling frantically underneath.
The funny thing is that if we've done our jobs properly, visitors never notice any of it.
And that's exactly how it should be.

As we head towards SOLEX 2026, the to-do lists are growing, the emails are multiplying, and the caffeine intake is increasing accordingly. But there's something incredibly rewarding about watching months of planning come together to create an event the industry looks forward to each year.

There are two versions of SOLEX.

The one visitors see when the doors open, and the one that starts months earlier with floor plans, exhibitor requests, awards entries, deliveries, signage, stand builds, forklift schedules and approximately 4,372 cups of tea.

Then someone emails: "Can I just ..."

Behind every polished trade show is a small army of people juggling a thousand moving parts.

And that's exactly how it should be.

LOFA members teed off in style at The Oxfordshire for our 2026 members-only golf day ⛳

Two days of sunshine, great golf and even better company gave everyone the chance to step away from the day job, catch up with familiar faces and strengthen relationships across the outdoor living sector.

Huge congratulations to all our prize winners, including Best Individual Paul Smith (Dometic), our winning teams on both days, and everyone who picked up Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive prizes.

As LOFA Chairman and event host, Alwyn Williams said, our golf event is a real highlight of the LOFA calendar – it brings members together and shows just how positive and supportive this industry is.
