Volunteers' Week 2026

If you've ever watched The Traitors, you'll know that around the table every decision matters.

Thankfully, our Trustees are definitely the Faithful.

This Volunteers' Week, we're shining a spotlight on the incredible people who give their time, expertise and energy to guide Meeting Point House.

Their experience spans community leadership, business, governance, faith, public service, risk management and more, helping ensure that Meeting Point House and our Hummingbird Cafe continues to inspire, connect and enable organisations that make a difference across Telford.

While much of their work happens behind the scenes, their impact is felt every day by our staff, partners, tenants, room users and the wider community.

To our Chair, Vice Chair and every member of our Board of Trustees: thank you for your wisdom, challenge, encouragement and commitment.

No cloaks. No banishments. Just a shared commitment to helping our community thrive.

⭐️Meet our guest for the next Comfort Cafe⭐️

We are delighted to welcome Ben Payne from Orbit Counselling to our next Comfort Cafe on Monday 29th June 2026.

Ben is a qualified counsellor who is passionate about helping people living with Cancer and anyone providing support for someone impacted by Cancer.

Comfort Cafe is a safe and welcoming space where people can connect, enjoy a cuppa and access helpful information and support within the community.
