🎭💛 Goldilocks and The Three Bears 2026 💛🎭

Now that we’ve had a moment to breathe, we want to send the biggest, warmest thank you to everyone who made this show so special. To our incredible cast, backstage crew, tech team, front of house and every volunteer who poured their time and hearts into this Panto, you are what makes The Crown Players such a joy to be part of. 🌟🙌

And let’s be honest… it wouldn’t be a Crown Players show if it looked ready any earlier than about 20 minutes before curtain up 😅🎭

But somehow, like magic (and maybe a little bit of chaos), it all came together just as it always does!

One of the things we treasure most about this group is how ✨wonderfully weird✨ we are, a mix of people who, in any other world, might never cross paths. Yet here we are! The way everyone supports, encourages, and looks out for one another is v special. 💛✨
It sets such a fantastic example for our youngest members, showing them the importance of community, and kindness, looking after each other, especially during tough times. 🌈🤝

We are so proud of every single member from those taking their first steps on stage to those who’ve been part of our journey for years. Watching everyone grow in confidence and shine together has been a privilege.

To our incredible audiences thank you for filling the room with laughter and support. You make all the late nights, rehearsals, and nerves completely worth it. 🎟️🥰

And we’re over the moon to share that, together, we raised…

And finally for today, our little superstar Baby Bear, Teddy! 🐻❤️

🎭 Who are you and what’s your role in the show?🎭

I’m Ronnie Stinson (Age 9) and I play Baby Bear.

⏳ How long have you been part of The Crown Players?⏳

I have been part of the group for 3 years but have been watching since I was a baby.

💛 Why do you enjoy being part of the group?💛

Because it’s lots of fun and everyone is really nice and we have a really good time together.

🐻✨ Meet The Crown Players ✨🐻

As we get ready for this evening’s production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, we thought it was the perfect time to introduce you to some of the brilliant people who bring our shows to life!

Next up, it’s Daddy Bear, Rupert 🐻 !!!

🎭 Who are you and what’s your role in the show?🎭

Pamela Higgs and I’m playing the role of Rupert, Daddy Bear!

⏳ How long have you been part of The Crown Players?⏳

I’ve been with the Crown Players since 2002, I’ve been many roles in the group over the years, I started by helping with the music, the stop start lady 😂 I was fundraising manager for a couple of years then we made it a whole group effort. I helped Front of House when I was pregnant as I was due during Panto week and didn’t want a repeat of Vicar of Dibley nativity incident! 😂 Over the years I’ve played the parts of Lester the Jester, Bo Peep, Ida Know and now Daddy Bear 🐻 when I haven’t played a role I have always enjoyed being part of the chorus.

💛 Why do you enjoy being part of the group?💛

I love being part of the Crown Players because we are like a huge family, I love being on stage with them all, also our amazing producers who are so patient throughout all the stress while rehearsing (Producer note: we didn’t actually pay Pam to say that! ❤️)
The best bit, is that I get to share the stage with my daughter Chelsea and this year with my bestie Nic. Also the fact we get to raise such fantastic funds for our charity as that’s why we really get up here and make a fool of ourselves

🎭 Who are you and what’s your role in the show?🎭

I’m Zoe Carver and I’m playing Mommy Bear.

⏳ How long have you been part of The Crown Players?⏳

I’ve been apart of the group for 4 years and love every second.

💛 Why do you enjoy being part of the group?💛

I enjoy being part of the group because it’s so much fun. From rehearsals to the nerves of show night. There’s always laughter, teamwork and a bit of chaos (the good kind! 🤣). (Producer note: can confirm there is more than a BIT of chaos)
Being part of the crown players feels like a second family and it’s so special to be a part of and also raising money for amazing charities.

I have been part of the group for 13 years (Producer note: Miley was only 4 🥹 when she first appeared on stage with the rest of her family in the group!)

💛 Why do you enjoy being part of the group?💛

I love being part of the group as I get to have fun with my friends in the group whilst working hard to raise as much money as possible for different charities. The crown players feels like a family to me ❤️
