Our summer day trip this year was a visit to the seaside 🏖

We jumped on the train and enjoyed a day of sand castles, fair rides and ice cream 🍦 at Barmouth beach in Wales.

I would like to say a special thank you to Sam who used her volunteering day from her work to come and help us have a fantastic day.

Here we are Lauryn and myself feeling proud of the qualification we achieved today in Auricular Acutherapy.

Auricular Therapy also know as acutherapy seeds and beads is a non-invasive technique based on the same principles as acupuncture from the NADA protocol.

This involves stimulating specific points of the outer ear to support physical and emotional wellness, instead of using needles small seeds are used.

We will be offering this treatment along with the services we already provide which are mentoring, counselling ,group support and holistic therapies.

Recharge prides itself on obtaining new and innovative ways support young people and we are really pleased to be able to offer this new service 💛

I was awarded the High Sheriff of Shropshire Award this week for the great snd valuable service I provide to the Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin community.

Presented by the High Sheriff Jane Trowbridge and the Lord Lieutenant Anna Turner.

Being the founder and managing Recharge is my vocation and passion.

It's something I do every single day because I care about providing support for young people.

To be recognised for the work I do is really nice to know that making a difference to the community is appreciated and noticed.

And finally..... the Recharge Team had some fun on our staff Christmas do, in true recovery style not a drop if alcohol was had and we had the best laughs at axe throwing.

Everyone has worked so hard and it was a perfect end of the busiest year I we've ever had at recharge !!

Not only did we put on 2 huge events one to launch the charity and the second was Telfords very first young people's recovery conference.

As if that wasn't enough we officially became a charity and moved premises !

So from all the team we would like to wish you all a happy Christmas and peaceful New year 🌲

We are offering a phone support service over the holiday and open in the new year on Tuesday 6th January.

Recharge Christmas meal 2025, this year staff and group members had a delicious meal at the Seven Gorge in Telford Town Centre.

The meal and gifts were provided by the fundraiser achieved by earlier this year, thank you 🙏🏽

We always put the young people first with any funding we get, providing a free confidential service, a safe place to to be heard, recovery groups and cool activities is our priority.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year you all know who you are, it's so appreciated 💯 ❤ 🎄 🌟
