We wish to thank the NE Fife Rotary for their support of providing us with Hi Viz vests which allow our cubs to safely navigate from the Scout Hall into Tentsmuir this weekend. The cubs enjoyed their 2 hour bike ride into Tentsmuir whilst working towards their cycling badge. Safety checks of bikes, helmets, and clothing followed the M Check as part of Bikeability 1. Well done to all of cubs, parents, carers and guardians, who supported the Scout activity day.

This week Cubs and parents were making themselves ready for the annual camp to Jock Neish Scout Centre. Tents that were donated in 2018 by ColPro were checked over to ensure everything was in working order. Backpacks and sleeping mats were distributed to support cubs and parents.

Our mascot will also be supporting our camp which was generously donated by the ladies of the caravan site.

We would also like to thank Kingdom Housing Association for there generous financial support to our Scout Group.

In cubs we were finalising numbers for our annual camp. The camp will be inviting all Cubs in the North East District.

A sleepover in the Scout Hall with Beavers was undertaken on Friday/Saturday focusing on music and food badges. Making instruments and finding rhythm. Playing kitchen bingo to understand hazards in the kitchen. Team game was bean bag football and then onto building the tents to sleep in.
With thanks to the NE Fife Rotary the hi viz vests and Tayport Heritage for the maps used whilst walking around Tayport.
The morning finished with seats on the bus, creating sourdough pizza and enjoying fruit salads.

We wish to thank the Rotary, Tayport Heritage, community organisations, individuals and parents, guardians and carers for the continuing support to the children of our community. Without your help and support events like this sleepover would not occurred.

A final thank you to the leadership team and trustees of the Scout Group for organising the sleepover. Well done to the Beavers
