Carers took part upstairs in an excellent dementia simulation training session, provided by Amanda from Tavistock Dementia Action Alliance, while downstairs Kathy led fun filled Love to Move exercise routines.

More members from Tavistock Memory Cafe joined the youngsters from Tavistock Youth Cafe in their Memories in Motion project this week.
We cemented, sanded and helped to prepare the mosaic designs on the tables.
Lots more still to do, but it will be a wonderful addition to the future new skate park.
Thank you Tavistock Youth Cafe for including us in this venture 💕and feeding us so well!

Today Tavistock Memory Cafe celebrated the first anniversary of its drop in group "Catch a Cuppa".
What a success story! Friendships made, support given, and so much chat and laughter + the obligatory tea and cake 🎂
