Thank you to everyone who came to Yoga at the Orchard with Jade Alexandra Yoga this afternoon. We had the perfect day - not too hot, a light breeze, blue sky and a few clouds. Jade generously delivered the session for free and we raised £35. For a small organisation like ours, this is a helpful contribution to costs such as our insurance bill.

Seasons Greetings from Frieze Hill Community Orchard.

Please join us if you can for our regular volunteer working party tomorrow when we’ll be continuing with pruning apple trees.
10 am - noon

This is our last working party before Christmas. In the New Year we’ll be emailing with the dates of 2026 volunteer working parties.

National Grid have been doing essential work recently on pylons and cabling situated in the community orchard. As a result the ground is very chewed up around the pylons in the middle of and across the orchard. I’m told the work was necessary for the power supply to Bishops Hull. The orchard looks a mess but it will recover and green up again in the spring.
